-Son of Jermaine and Paula Haley.

-Has an older brother, Aubre, an older sister, Sharmaine, and a younger sister, Sirenea.

-His father played football for the Toronto Argonauts, Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins as a defensive tackle from 1998-2004.

-His grandfather, Otis Haley, was a high jumper with the United States National Team and set a national high school record of 2.21m (7-1 ¼).

-Graduate of Burnaby South High, where he was given a 5-star rating by Scout as a point guard.

-Two-time second team British Columbia High School Boys All-Star.

-Named to the BioSteel All-Canadian All-Star Game.

-Co-MVP of the Seattle Spring Slam Showcase in 2015 with his AAU team, Drive Basketball Academy.
