2020-2021: Moon signed with Maccabi Hod HaSharon of the Israeli National League. Over 7 games, Moon is averaging 23.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.


2019-2020: In 2020, Moon played for The Edmonton Stingers. He led the CEBL in points (19.2), assists, (4.5), and 3-point percentage (50.0%). He shot an impressive 52.2% from the field, 50.0% from behind the three, and 86.4% from the free throw line over eight games in the CEBL Summer Series. Moon also recorded a season high of 9 assists against the Ottawa Blackjacks on July 27th, 2020 and scored a season high of 31 points against the Fraser Valley Bandits in the Summer Series Championship Game. In his two seasons in the CEBL, Moon has twice received the honour of CEBL Player of the Year, has been named Finals MVP, and named to the All-CEBL First Team ... Moon also played with the London Lightning of the National Basketball League of Canada. Here, Moon averaged 21.5 points, 1.2 steals, 5.3 assists, and 6.5 rebounds over 20 games; starting in all 20 games. Notably, Moon was named to the First Team All-NBL Canada.


2018-2019: Moon joined The Edmonton Stingers in the 2019 Inaugural Season. Moon finished the season tied for the league leader in points per game (19.3) and second in assists (5.7). He led the league in steals (2.2) and finished third in three-point shooting percentage (43.5%) as he led the Stingers to the CEBL Semi-Finals; capturing the first ever CEBL Player of the Year Award ... Moon also played for the London Lightning where he averaged 13.9 points, 1.46 steals, 4.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds over 41 games. Moon started 24 of the 41 games. 


2017-2018: Moon played for ALM Évreux Basket; a French professional basketball club based in Evreux, France. Moon averaged 9 points, 1.1 steals, 4.3 assists, and 2.6 rebounds over 8 games. Moon started in all 8 games.


UNIVERSITY / COLLEGE CAREER 

2016-2017: Moon attended Morehead State. As a senior, Moon led Morehead State in scoring with an average of 16.0 points per game. He averaged 35.0 minutes, 4.6 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals over 30 games. Of the 30 games played, Moon started all 30. Moon was named to the NABC All-District First Team as well as the All-OVC First Team.


2015-2016: Moon attended Morehead State. As a junior, Moon averaged 24.8 minutes, 10.2 points, 1.9 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals across 37 games. Of the 27 games played, Moon started 21. Moon recorded the first triple-double in Morehead State history on December 19th, 2016 with 25 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds against Central Arkansas.


2014-2015: Moon attended Northwest Florida State College. As a sophomore, Moon averaged 10.9 minutes, 7.7 points, 1.8 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steals across 35 games. Moon was named Sixth Man of the Year as the team won the National Junior College Championship.


2013-2014: Moon attended Northwest Florida State College. As a freshman, Moon averaged 14.3 minutes, 4.5 points, 0.7 assists, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.5 steals across 26 games. Of the 26 games played, Moon started 12.


Notable

Xavier is the son of Michelle Moon and Brian Thomas. His uncle Jamario Moon played five seasons in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Charlotte Bobcats. In his time with the CEBL, Moon has twice received the honour of CEBL Player of the Year, has been named Finals MVP, and named to the All-CEBL First Team. In October 2019, Moon was extended an invitation to the Raptors 905 Training Camp.
