2021-22: Somto Dimanochie suited up for the York Lions in his third year of eligibility … Started all 16 games … In the season opener dropped 23 points and 7 rebounds in a loss to Ottawa … On November 19th, 2021 posted first career with 18 points and 11 rebounds … Had a career high 15 boards against Ryerson on February 9th, 2022 to complement 15 points …Posted a career high 28 points against Ontario tech on February 19th, 2022 shooting 12/17 from the floor… Finished the season with 5 straight double digit rebounding games … Averaged 13.9 points and 8.8 rebounds on the season

2020-21: COVID-19: no season

2019-2020: Returned in his second year as a Lion … Played 14 games for York but missed a significant portion of the season due to injury … Managed 7 rebounds and 8 points in his preseason debut against Acadia on September 28th, 2019 … Season high 8 rebounds in only 19 minutes against Ryerson on October 24th, 2019 … Shot 6/9 from the field on November 10th, 2019 to hit season high 12 points … Finished season averaging 5.4 points and 5.1 rebounds a game

2018-19: Played rookie year with the York Lions …During rookie campaign played in 17 games starting 13 … Scored first points in the OUA regular season on October 16th, 2018 with 6 against Queens … Set season high with 14 points against Windsor on November 2nd, 2018 adding in 5 rebounds … During Round One of the OUA playoffs played 21 minutes in York’s lone playoff game … Finished the year averaging 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game on 54.0% field goal shooting.
