The Edmonton Stingers continue to dominate their home court at the Northlands Expo Centre, defeating the Guelph Knighthawks 110-91 on Thursday night.

It was their fifth straight win as they improve to 9-4, including a 7-1 stretch at home, as they prepare to take to the road for a rematch in Guelph on Saturday, July 20, against a Knighthawks squad that fell to 3-10.

“We have to go out there and punch them in the face first and send them a message,” said Aida Peter-McNeilly of the Stingers. “We wanted to put our staple on the game.”

Grandy Glaze led the way for Edmonton with 28 points and 15 rebounds, while Xavier Moon added 19 points and 10 assists.

“We want the best for everybody and we play unselfish,” said Travis Daniels, who had 23 points and 11 rebounds. “When we play together, we’re so tough to stop.”
