PROFESSIONAL CAREER


International: In 89 games has averaged 8.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists while playing in Canada, Austria, Finland, and Czechoslovakia. Won the 2019 NBL Championship with the Moncton Magic.


2021-22: Freddie McSwain Jr. joined Basket Racing Club Luxembourg of the Total League, Luxembourg’s top league … Over 8 games averaged 19.8 points and 12.3 rebound per game … Later signed to the BK Olomoucko of the Czech NBL, the top league in the country … In 8 games with the club averaged 10.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game … Scored a season high 17 in back to back games on March 16th and 23rd, 2022 … Also registered double doubles in those games with 11 and 12 rebounds respectively … Shot 50.0% from the field on the year.

 

2020-2021: Signed to the Oberwart Gunners of Austria’s Österreichische Basketball Bundesliga, which represents Austria’s highest level of play … Appeared in the club’s first 5 games of the season scoring 11 points on opening night … Averaged 9.2 points and 5.0 rebounds for the club while shooting 51.4% from the field … Part way through the season signed with the Loimaa Bisons of the Finland Division 1 … For the Bisons appeared in 12 games, winning 11 of them … Netted 22 points on February 14th, 2021 against Munkkiniemen Kisapojat … Collected 9 rebounds twice against Raiders Basket and Kristika Turku … Averaged 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds for the club.

 

2018-19: Selected by the Canton Charge of the NBA G League out of Indiana … Shortly after signed with the Moncton Magic of the Canadian NBL … Played 20 games for the Magic … Averaged 10.7 points per game and 6.8 rebounds … Had 11 points and 6 rebounds in his debut game against the Island Storm on January 18th, 2019 … Scored season high 24 points in 47 minutes against the Windsor Express on March 24th, 2019 … Had 14 points in Game Three of the 2019 NBL Finals … Helped Magic win the 2019 NBL Championship averaging 5.4 points and 3.8 rebound per game across the playoffs.

2017-18: Rejoined the Hooisers for his senior year … Scored a NCAA Div I career high 10 points against Tennessee Tech on December 21st, 2017 … Played a NCAA Div I career high 29 minutes and collected a career high 16 rebounds (9 offensive) on February 3rd, 2018 in a loss to Michigan State … Made the go ahead basket against Iowa with 49 seconds left to push the Hoosiers to a win on February 17th, 2018 … Played in the Big Ten Tournament against Rutgers on March 1st, 2018, scoring 8 points in his last collegiate game.


2016-17: On April 24th, 2016, committed to the Indiana University Hoosiers … First NCAA Division I game came on November 11th, 2016 against the Kansa Jayhawks … Scored first points against UMass Lowell on November 16th, 2016, finishing the game with 3 points and 5 rebounds … Scored a season high 8 points twice against Houston Baptists and Purdue … Played  a total of 31 games starting 1 … Finished the season averaging 2.7 points and 2.5 rebounds per game.


2015-16: Returned to Neosho for his sophomore year … Started 28 of his 31 games … scored a NCJAA career high 25 points in 35 minutes against the Dodge City Community College … Managed 20 rebounds to go along with 18 points in a 42-minute performance against Cowley County Community College on January 16th, 2016 … Was named NCJAA DI All-Region VI 1st-Team … Was named NCJAA DI Region VI All-Tournament MVP after winning the Region VI Tournament and scoring 17 in the championship game … Finished NCJAA Career with 786 points, 528 rebounds, and 53 assists in 63 games played.


2014-15: Played first year of post secondary career with Neosho County Community College of the NJCAA after graduating from Liberty County in Hinesville, Georgia … As a freshman averaged 10.4 points and 7.7 rebounds per game across 29 games and 7 starts … Scored a 22 points in his first collegiate game against Ottawa University Braves on November 1st, 2014 … Registered 5 double-doubles including a 15 point 14 rebound performance on January 10th, 2015 against Allen County
