Stinger Sign American G-Leaguer Cameron McGriff

McGriff has 71 Games of G League Experience Under His Belt
EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Stingers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Friday the signing of American Forward Cameron McGriff to their 2025 roster. The Grand Prairie, Texas native has four years of professional experience including 3 games of NBA experience and 71 games of NBA G League experience.
“We are very much looking forward to seeing Cameron in an Edmonton Stingers uniform.” said Stingers Head Coach and General Manager Jordan Baker. “A veteran and extremely talented player, his versatility is exactly what we look for when constructing a roster. His experience in both the G-League and overseas will serve him well as he leads our team into the 2025 season."
In the G league, McGriff has averaged 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 22.8 minutes per game. His most recent season with the Indiana Mad Ants saw him post career highs in points and rebounds per game at 13.8 and 6.9 respectively. On December 27th against the Salt Lake City Stars he scored a season high 26 points alongside 8 rebounds.
He has also competed for the Memphis Hustle and Greensboro Swarm. Prior to turning pro, McGriff played four seasons at Oklahoma State University, and is one of just five Cowboys to win in every Big 12 conference road venue. Of 130 games played at OSU, MCGriff started 80, averaging 25.8 minutes per game.

McGriff and the Stingers will return to the Edmonton EXPO Centre on May 11th to host the Calgary Surge in their home opener.
