Edmonton Stingers unveil 2026 theme schedule

The Edmonton Stingers are bringing the buzz back to the Hive this summer with the return of fan-favourite theme nights, can’t-miss halftime entertainment and unforgettable experiences for fans of all ages.

The 2026 season tips off on May 9 with the Home Opener, featuring the always popular SuperDogs halftime show—setting the tone for a summer packed with energy, excitement and affordable family-friendly fun.

On May 24, the Stingers will host Hoops for Heroes presented by Overwatch Wellness , honouring the individuals who serve and protect our community. The evening will include a special pregame honour guard presentation, pipes and drums, and a military drumline halftime performance.

On June 13 the Stingers host Filipino heritage night, presented by The Edmonton International Airport, which will surely be one of the most vibrant nights of the season. Fans can experience a pregame outdoor Filipino market, buffet, enjoy cultural performances throughout the game, and shop exclusive merchandise. The in-arena show will be hosted by DJ Qwake and RJ Cui, bringing an added level of energy to the night.

The Stingers will celebrate Canada Day on July 1st with a special 4 p.m. tip-off, once again featuring the SuperDogs halftime show—making it the perfect addition to a full day of festivities in the city.

On July 26, basketball meets one of Edmonton’s biggest summer events with the KDays Showcase. Fans who purchase tickets to the KDays Showcase will be able to show their Stingers ticket at the gates for free admission to the fair that day.

The regular season will wrap up on

August 2 with Fan Appreciation Night, a celebration dedicated to the best fans in the league. With giveaways, surprises and a playoff push on the line, it’s set to be an electric atmosphere as the Stingers look to carry momentum into the postseason.
